Kristina Mumby

Partner, Development Operations & Grants Management

As Partner, Kris is responsible for management and oversight of New Profit’s centralized development team and systems.

Previously, Kris was an Associate Partner on the Development team responsible for developing and implementing the systems, tools and relationships necessary to successfully manage New Profit’s major grants. Prior to that, Kris was the Associate Partner for the Reimagine Learning Fund where she led fund operations. She also served as Director of Operations for the Portfolio Investment Team where she developed and managed the portfolio’s annual work plan and budget and served as project manager for a variety of projects and field leadership activities across the portfolio. Kris joined New Profit in 2011 as the Manager on the Pathways Fund Team where she led the process management of projects across the Fund.

Prior to joining New Profit, Kris spent ten years in Global Programs with ACCION International, a private, nonprofit organization with the mission of giving people the financial tools they need to improve their lives. As Principal Operations Manager at ACCION, Kris managed the annual Global Programs planning and budgeting process and served as advisor to the Chief Operating Officer during the strategic planning and implementation process. Prior to ACCION, Kris worked in the Corporate Communications department of Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, Inc.

Kris holds a BA in international relations and Spanish from Colgate University, and a Master of Public Health from Boston University. In 2013 she completed a six-month Strategy and Research Fellowship with Health Leads.
