Since 2003, Goodwin Procter has served as New Profit's pro-bono legal counsel. In addition, a set of Goodwin Procter partners supports New Profit financially through the Goodwin Procter Community Fund.

In 2009, Goodwin Procter extended its support of New Profit, making available talented individuals to assist our community of organizations with strategic projects through the "Make a Difference" fellowship program. Goodwin Procter also has provided pro-bono counsel to New Profit portfolio organizations to help them navigate opportunities presented by new federal legislation, including the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act.
