We are excited to share New Profit’s 2019 Annual Report, which reflects on our work in 2019 to catalyze the impact of a portfolio of breakthrough social entrepreneurs and to transform how government and philanthropy pursue social change to ensure that all people can thrive. The report’s theme, The Power to Break Through, is about growing the inclusivity, impact, and potential of our community.

The report profiles the 65 social entrepreneur-led organizations that New Profit supported with our pioneering venture philanthropy model in 2019, and celebrates our partnership with six extraordinary organizations that graduated from our portfolio after four+ years of investment. It also explores our work to invest in change at the systemic level through investing in entrepreneurs with systemic solutions to social problems and initiatives that are advancing innovations in early childhood and workforce development. The report also highlights the launch of Inclusive Impact, an initiative supporting leaders of color in the social sector, and America Forward’s 2020 Presidential Campaign. Finally, it features stories of breakthrough moments that members of our team and portfolio experienced while engaging with the New Profit community this year.
